Fos;
The tentative date is May 30 a Sunday the location looks to be the Curry
County Fairgrounds, located here in Gold Beach. Everyone is invited, if some
enterprising souls want to sell food they will need to get a "Temp.
Restaurant Permit" @ $108.00 I will find out how out of Towner's need to
handle that if your interested. There will be a $20.00 entry fee for the
contest. Judging will be by the public, via samples from each contestant.
The categories will be Fish, Beef, Pork, and Chicken. Fish is a MUST as that
is prime time for the Spring run of Salmon.
I don't have any cash floating around so Trophies will be the prizes.
I am wide open to suggestions. And donations !

Sounds tepmting, Bruce. Where the hell is Gold Beach, anyway?

SWMBO is up to the idea as am I, onlyiest thing is I might be goin' to
Birmingham that weekend instead. Still up in the air.

So anyone can join the competition? Will there be a fee for that? Is this a
yearly thing? Is this the first one? Are you in charge? Is there an entry
fee, or is that the $108?
Do I just show up pick a spot and start cookin? Can you actually answer any
of these questions yet?

cruise the 101. Rough with a baby, but whatthehellisn't?
Nonetheless, I'll have to consider this bit of info when I start decidin'
what we're gonna do.

This must be why Diane has her policy "Don't bring home anybody
from the Internet".
