Has anyone tried the new Polder dual-probe thermometer? Has a sensor on the tip of the probe for the meat, and a sensor at the back end of the probe to measure the cooking temp. Does it work like it should? Those units are notorious for their high failure rate. Mine broke immediately, and I've seen the same story reported by many in several different forums. -- Reg email: RegForte (at) (that free MS email service) (dot) com |

Does it work like it should? No, it doesn't. The last probe I bought for the one I have failed in 10 minutes. Do yaself a favor and buy two cheaper single probe therms. You'll be glad ya did. -- -frohe Life is too short to be in a hurry |

And it's handy to just have one box to mount and keep an eye on. So I am a happy customer.
