when i go to visit my parents, i always take them to elmer's down
on the strip. good, i like it, but is there somewhere else? joe petersburg, alaska fish? yes. Q? no. My hands down favorite for BBQ when I lived there was Wilsons. When my (now ex) wife got a jones for BBQ while preggers, I went to Wilsons no matter how late. I think their slogan was "You need no teef to eat our beef.". It is in north Tulsa on Pine Street IIRC. Never was impressed with Elmers. Rib Crib @ ~16th and Harvard wasn't bad. Left Tulsa about '96 so this should be considered dated. Rollie KC, MO |

I left the area even earlier (92) but back then I would drive down to
Muscogee every week and go to Slicks. Been looking for something to approximate the experience ever since, found nothing. Guess it will just have to be a fond memory, lol.
