Any you guys using one of these things. If I get one will I want to use it
just on the grill or on the WSM too? If I wanna use it on the WSM I gotta get the smaller one but for just the grill I can go with the 2 dozen size. Stainless, I'm assuming is preferred over non-stick? Just makin a Christmas list for my wife. She loves me, so I still get cool stuff on the holidays.:) Hell, I just got a box of Aunt Sally's pralines from New Orleans in the mail yesterday and I didnt even order 'em myself. And she doesnt really like 'em! Oh.....maybe I oughtta go get her some flowers....I shoulda known it'd cost me soon as I opened the damned box. Sheesh! -- Fosco Gamgee Whitfurrows and his 6" boner |

Well, I guess thats a no. -- Fosco Gamgee Whitfurrows and his 6" boner NO, that's a "I been smokin' since I loaded my three Kamados in the van friday and took 'em to Melbourne for the weekend and I aint been neer a computer since early Friday morning" I have a Chile grill, and like it and like the results. BUT some times of the year, the peppers are too small for the holes in the grill. Other times, like right now, they are pretty much all too big, and may topple over if you just stick the tip in to where it fits. All of the time, it's a whole lot more work to cut off the top and clean out the seeds and the membrane without poking any holes in the bottom of the peppers. It's quicker to slice 'em lengthwise and stuff'em the traditional ABT way and you get twice as many servings per pepper. Presentation is nicer with the chilegrill than normal. I use my chile grill in my K5, the 2dozen size just fits. Never used it just over a grill. I have the powder finish instead of the SS because it's cheaper (like me) Did I answer all of your (impatient, I might add) questions? BOB ps...send me the pralines since you hate 'em so much. |
