Spoofing someone's ID is strictly forbidden in Usenet.
If everyone forwards the headers from this guys spoofing posts,
Google will cut him off and complain to his provider.
He may well get UDP'd and never bother anyone again.
Copy the entire message including headers along with a complaint
that he is spoofing and send to:

"Strictly forbidden"? By some ISPs. Strictly speaking, the bozo isn't
spoofing anyone. He's simply appending a name you recognize to the
domain "operamail.com."

Nobody says...

Spoofing someone's ID is strictly forbidden in Usenet.

Actually, it's only the email address that some ISPs won't
let you spoof. The handle you use isn't protected. That's
why I can call myself "Monroe, of course..." or "Dot Matrix"
without getting into trouble with Supernews - as long as I
don't use the email adresses of those individuals.

Maybe I should post everything as "Monroe, of course...".
Or maybe I should rotate the names of the other flamers
in my killfile. What do you think?

If you feel froggy, Chuckles, then go ahead and jump. Just be sure to
post here that you're doing it to purposely disrupt the newsgroup and
deprive others of their ability to use it. If you don't, then we'll
know that your a snivelling coward who isn't really interested in
finding out what supernews does and does not allow.

Or maybe I should rotate the names of the other flamers
in my killfile.

You'll have to actually killfile someone to be able to do that.
Besides, what good would it do you? You're so widely killfiled that
few would ever see your posts. There's your sock-puppet Smiles, of
course, and your master, me. Who else would see your posts?

What do you think?

I think you're a putz.

I think that I just need to add your email address to my filters to
complement the previous filter on your moniker. That will solve the
problem from my end.

Great Idea! Then I can change my name and you can join the chorus of
'they who've plonked me' whinging about how I've morphed to avoid their
killfiles. I'd rather you had a really great idea like "I think I'll
forget to breathe" or "I think I'll frenchkiss this 220V socket" or
something like that.

Okay, I have bitten my tongue long enough, so now at the risk of being
banned from this group for life, I gotta say it.
Don't pick on Fos, because everyone in this group has confessed to eating a
little meat at least once!

For some real 'q' come up to Canada son. We offer boiled ribs and
saurkraut at every restaurant in the cityies. Some muight argue that
that's some kind of fag German cusine. Nothing could be further from
the trufe. In WWI Canadian soldiers introduced to hte Germans a
cabbage dish called 'saurkraut'. The rest is history. Shyould you
feel the need to learn more about Canadian cusine and culture just
e-mail me and i';lll send you a copy of my new boodK: 'Johynny Canuk
