A while back I saw on this group people were talking about where to place
the stack. I built a 4x4x4(foot) Q with no hot box and placed the stack on
the end of the grill and just below the grill surface. All in all the stack
was about 2'6" it looked like a large L. It also had a rotisserie in it
which kept the heat more even when it was on. I would like to say thanks for
the info. I will be building all my Q's in this manner. I haven't had a
complaint yet except by other people with hot boxes. While they sit at home
alone my grill is hard at work entertaining the gang.

I have a full TIG/MIG rig, and would be willing to try welding up
a SS BBQ if someone has some plans.

Stop putting your moronic handle into the subject line of every thread
you respond to. You know that it breaks the thread, yet you continue
to do it. I suspect that the nice folks at the abuse desk at supernews
have already told you to knock it off. Do they have to tell you again?

LOL. You sure love to attempt a meaning less threat as a response to
anything you do not like. After taking intro to scare tactics you need
to move up to scare tactics 101.

What do you mean? All I was asking about was if someone has built their

grill the same way I have. That is all I wrote to you all.

Miles/milesh and his troup)

I notice that your address is @cfl.rr.com
You could contact Big Jim or even take a ride up to see him near Micanopy, Fla.
He builds BBQ pits and smokers and is an all-around-great guy.Big Jim bigjim @

He was talking to me. He's apparently too stupid to realize that I
don't see his posts.

You can safely ignore Smiles. He's the Resident Punching Bag and
Village Idiot of alt.food.barbecue.

Nick, my reply was to Kevin Wilson with his scare tactics regarding
posts he disapproved of. Your question was most certainly a good
question.

Bob,
Sand? What is it you are throwing above? Get off your soapbox for
once. My reply wasn't to Nick. He just misread, no harm done.

I wasn't throwing anything. I was helping someone that came here with questions,
unlike you and your "admirers".
It doesn't matter who you were replying to. My advise to Nick is still excellent
advise.

Helping or whining?

advise.

Ah...that answers it. More whining.
