Geez, it took you this long to come to that conclusion?

I can't figure why anyone has been replying at all. Is the goal to drown
the newsgroup in troll threads? That's the only result from feeding the
trolls. Replying never makes them rethink their positions and admit
their errors, they are only in it for the disruption.

You may think it's fun and really showing them, but all it does is
encourage the troll. Very likely he/she/it doesn't expouse the beliefs
in the posts at all, but has found an easy way to generate the
newsgroup-destroying threads that bring such pleasure.

The only way to deal with such people is to decline to ever reply. Put
the trolls in killfiles, immediately kill any threads you do see because
of replies. Only by having their clever trollbait disappear without a
ripple will they go elsewhere to look for their fun.

While recent posts by Veg are under a different IP addy, his earlier
ones were the same NNTP host as Tofudge...so they're either the same,
or using the same machine.
