Default the weber q grill

Anyone used weber's new little portable grill? I've read great reviews
on it but I haven't heard any comments on how hot that little thing
will get (claims 12,000 BTU/hr). We've got a smoker and a charcoal
grill which both get a fair bit of use. We want to add a gas grill
just for those occasions where we feel like doing some quick burgers
or something. I don't want to spend a lot on it since it won't be used
that much, so right now I'm debating between a new el cheapo grill
(store near me has an older sunbeam still new in box, the $300 model
consumer reports rated a best buy, for $129) or the Weber Q (on sale
near me for $150). I'm guessing the Q would last me longer, but if I
have to throw away a $129 grill in a few years I'm not going to cry
too much. What concerns me is if the little Q is going to be able to
put out enough heat to really do some good cooking, should I ever want
to slap a few steaks on it...
