Big article in my local paper says that grilling over coals or gas and
smoking creats carcinogens and causes cancer and that we should only
grill vegatables!

So then the grilled veggies can give you cancer? Amazing what
passes for jourelisim these days.

That's because they don't balance the beer with pretzels.

Carcinogens are caused when you burn the meat. So learn not to burn it. :-)

It isn't. As far as I know, webtv died years ago. I still use the email
name through my msn account because that's how everybody knows me.

a couple of letters.

According to this ridicules article, even without burning the food,
carcinogenic chemicals are created from the fat dripping on the coals or
burners and from the smoke. It says that if you must grill meat, it
should only be done at low temperatures with the lid open and the meat
should be turned often!
