This may be obviuos to some, yet it took me three years to figure this
simple trick out. After a cook, the top and bottom grates are a pain to clean (unless you always have a power washer handy). Since I usually have leftover hot coals after my cooks, I now just place the two grates right on top of the coal ring and remove the lid on the WSM. All the crap on the grates gets burned off nicely and you are good to go for the next cook. Cheers Johnny |
