Default Tip on cleaning WSM

This may be obviuos to some, yet it took me three years to figure this
simple trick out.

After a cook, the top and bottom grates are a pain to clean (unless you
always have a power washer handy). Since I usually have leftover hot
coals after my cooks, I now just place the two grates right on top of
the coal ring and remove the lid on the WSM. All the crap on the grates
gets burned off nicely and you are good to go for the next cook.

Cheers
Johnny

I scrape the big chunks off and put them in the dishwasher - no muss, no
fuss....

They're too big for my kitchen sink so I soak them in the laundry tub.
They're easy to clean once they've soaked.
