People, please watch the crosspostings! For example
this thread is posted to three clearly unrelated groups,
and I noticed one crosspostint to a Barbecue group! It's almost
as if someone started this on purpose to generate a lot
of noise.

No way! What kind of person would do such a thing?

No cluons were harmed when Chris McGonnell

My guess is the Kibo people. They are cursed.

Ever since we lost our homeland, we have been wandering the barren
landscape of the Usernet(tm), scraping up discarded bits and bytes so
that we will someday, once again, have a home; offering our wisdom and
ancient YHBT and YHL rituals to the vast, unwashed masses, while we
search the grey horizons for signs that our curse will one day be
lifted.

Had we not tried to staple Leader Kibo to a telephone pole, we would
not have brought this curse upon ourselves. Had Leader Kibo not used
the safewords "doidy" and "wox wox", all would have been well for us
kibsies. We still have the staples. We still carry the phone pole. We
still wear the rubber cones upon our heads as a penance - or maybe as
recognition of deviant acts - history does not answer this question.

Still, we shall roam until the end of days, mysterious, disturbed and
yes, cursed.

Or maybe we're just weird, ya know?

Is that an "or"-or or an and/or?
