I like to make mini caramel cone's and give them as gifts. does anyone have
a recipe for chocolate mini cone's that I could freeze? This is the recipe I use. how could I convert it to chocolate? Thanks to all. Caramel Cones From the kitchen of Lisa Moore, Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada INGREDIENTS 2 cups brown sugar 1/3 cup butter 1/3 cup corn syrup 1 can sweetened condensed milk 2 cups marshmallows 60 mini ice cream cones 5 empty egg cartons Step 1 Turn the egg cartons upside down. Punch holes in the bottom of each egg cup. Gently insert one mini cone into each hole. Step 2 In a large microwave-safe bowl, combine the brown sugar, butter, corn syrup and sweetened condensed milk. Microwave on high for 2 minutes. Step 3 Take the bowl out of the microwave. Stir. Microwave for 2 more minutes. Add 2 cups of mini marshmallows. Step 4 Microwave on high for 2 minutes. Stir. If necessary, repeat to thoroughly melt the marshmallows. Step 5 When the mixture is thoroughly smooth, fill the cones. Place carton in the freezer and keep them there until they are completely frozen. Step 6 Allow the cones to sit at room temperature for five minutes before serving. Copyright © FamilyFun.com |
