Anyone out there know of source for large quantities of oriental seasonings? Possibly a oriental
restaurant distributor? I'd very much like to find an outlet to purchase soy sauce in one to five gallon containers. Any help anyone could offer would be greatly appreciated. Thank You |

I have a 1-gallon can in my refrigerator right now, which I bought at my local store. You didn't say where you're located, and it's unlikely that my local store would help you, but if there's such a store near you, try it instead of a supermarket. Failing that, look on the web. I just did a search on soy sauce gallon, and got lots of hits. Here's just one: http://chinsimport.com/leekumkee.htm -- Ken Blake Please reply to the newsgroup |

Smart & Final / Cash & Carry carries 5-gal. buckets of soy sauce, large cans of Hoisin sauce, cases of fortune cookies, etc. Their selection is much more limited than an Asian grocer's, but their prices are pretty good and they have large, restaurant-sized packages. They are a U.S. West Coast chain--see http://www.smartandfinal.com/store_locations.asp for locations. -- --Steve |

The Korean Lotte supermarket chain, in the US DC area, has bulk sizes of many items, including soy sauce. Ian |
