Kam Sam (I know I got the name slightly wrong) is about a ten minute walk from the Rockville Metro Station on the Red LIne. Walk up to Middle Lane, then right to 300 N Washington St. Rockville, MD 20850 You can get a map on Google. It's called Maxim's and is near the fire house and actually about 200 yards from Kam Sam.There's a bit of a little China town in that area. ?? bm i get the idea it's pretty new. would i have much trouble bm with a wheelchair? (using one, not buying one.) I have not checked closely but both Maxim's and Kam Sam have entry ways without steps, AFAICT. The aisles are not the widest and they can be a bit crowded. Both places have pretty good parking so driving there would ordinarily be practical. You can take the Rockville Montgomery Ave exit from 270 and the drive to either store would not be more than a mile or so. It may be that MSG is right up there with salt as a flavor enhancer. Anyway, the Japanese will add a small pinch of salt to freshing up a stale cup of coffee and darned if that don't work well. I'm gonna have to try some MSG in coffee. Don't tell anybody... David James Silverton Potomac, Maryland E-mail, with obvious alterations: not.jim.silverton.at.comcast.not |
