How long can an open packet of tofu keep, provided that I have it in a

Nikitta,
I would keep it at most 1 week. I presume you have the tofu in water....I
would change that water each day to help keep it fresh.

I have it as it was, in the original, but opened packet, with no water
(as it wasn't in water when I bought it), but wrapped in a plastic
bag. I needed 1,5 packet of tofu to make sweet and sour tofu, so I
have 1/2 packet which I haven't gotten around to using yet. I suppose
I could slice it and fry it with some onion today, if it's still okay
to eat after 6 days. I suppose it's safe if it doesn't smell bad?
