Hot Nutty Butternut Squash [nuts are protein]

... I'm a bit confused, as it mentions currants in the
ingredient-list, but I don't find them in the description of how to cook
it. Are they just served raw, next to the butternut squash, or?

Hmm... my guess would be that you would add them around the same time that
you add either the peanut butter or the sugar. You would have to ask
MrFalafel for a more definitive answer, as it is his recipe. With the order
in which the ingredients are listed, it seems like you either sauté them
with the cashews and peppers or add them when you add the peanut butter.
The peanut butter option seems more likely.
