Some thoughts as a former employee and longtime afficienado:

- the cost of vents
- be on-premises virtually
- take the food seriously.
- listen to your customers.
- don't try to be a sports bar
- Sponsoring adult softball teams/leagues
- Get barstools that have backs.
- be constantly on the lookout for
- Don't be too dark and dingy...l
- organize things for customers
Good luck...I'd love to see updates on your plans...

All excellent suggestions...but the one that is the most important.

Have FIVE times the amount of money that you "think" you need to start up the
business. If you have 100,000............you really need a half million!

Good luck in your new venture....hard work will pay off every time.
