Does anyone know how chewing gum can be preserved beyond its expiration
date? I have guesses that freezing will either be very good or very bad
for this... maybe vacuum sealing? The gum is sold in packs, which
contain individual sticks like Juicy Fruit. I hope to find bulk packs
like those sold to wholesalers.

In my experience, the problem is when gum either gets soggy, or dries
out. Keeping it in the original wrapping, plus airtight sealing in a
bag should keep things nice and stable.

I wouldn't try freezing - might change the mouthfeel.

Lots of those can be mailordered through www.jlist.com, just so you
know. :-) The Asian gum, that is.

I do freeze a special brand of chewing gum. That is hard for me to find in
regular stores. I have some in my freezer right now , thats been there well
over a year , thats in fine shape. I can see no difference in the taste nor
texture of it. Hugs .... k
