Are people
now sending out wish lists of stuff? "Dear friends and relative: We
want
a
Hobart Mixer, Dualite Toaster, KitchenAid Pro Series Waffle Iron. If
you
need help finding a store that sells these brands, let us know."
Yes, but they tell you what store. No imagination needed.
Most couples register at one or two stores. You can get the list at the
store of on the store's web page. They will specify the exact brand,
model,
and the price will be listed. At the check out, the items will be marked
off the database to avoid duplication. Seems to be common to register at
a
kitchen store and like a Home Depot.
I imagine it is like shopping with no money and hoping the family kicks in
the bucks for the top of the line stuff. Last wedding we went to, the
couple was registered at Kitchens Etc. Items ranged from $20 to $500.
Then there is the baby shower . . . .

$20-$500? Yikes!
Dawn who thought spending $37 on 2 bath towels, 2 hand towels and 2
washcloths was a lot of money to spend for a wedding present a few weeks
ago!
