No, no-one wants to know another is dying, why would anyone gloat? I
tell you this now, Bob has known he was ill and beyond the medical
profession's help for a long time, if he has not known for certain he
has felt it in his soul. His anger at Andrew is no more than his
helplessness being reflected into the world. Ask him to deny this.

Bob has simply been gasping for breath as he has been reaching out for
the lifebelt. The seas are stormy for us all and non more so than for
the man who has the world between himself and his saviour. Very soon
there becomes nothing between himself and the arms that save.

Would you not give your life to save this man if you could?

Jesus is a dying man's comforter and Shepherd out of this life and
into eternal life with Him. We all walk in valley of the shadow of
death, all of us. All we can hope is that we keep our journey on the
straight and narrow whilst we travel nearer to our deaths.

It's not a game you know, it's life; regardless of what Bob choses now
for his afterlife, he knows this.
We do not test The Lord, it is us who loses otherwise.

Even a dying man can give his life to Jesus and receive the promise of
eternal life.

What more can any man here give to him?

The man that argues away his salvation argues against the true value
of his own soul.
