I'm seeking opinions on the electric knife sharpeners made by Chef's

Naturally, their ads claim that they do a wonderful job, but I'd sure

They do a pretty good job - I had one for several years. If you want an
electronic gadget to do your sharpening they are probably your best bet. But
they do not give the edge that skilled manual sharpening will. If you are
willing to put in a little more effort I recommend the Edge Pro - a manual
device that gives really incredible edges.
