Default Looking for a good cabbage recipe

This is VERY easy and it's really good.

In a large pot, saute some chopped onions in olive oil; season with salt
and pepper. I love onions so I wouldn't use less than two large yellow
onions for this; your preference may vary. Coarsely chop a head of
cabbage, and add it to the onions. Add some water--about 1/2 cup or
so--and simmer, covered, until the cabbage is cooked to your liking.
That's it, but it's very tasty! The combination of olive oil, sauteed
onions, and cabbage makes for a slightly sweet taste. This is good hot,
at room temperature, and even cold; it's nice over rice, too.

:-)~
great and simple recipe.
i make it with boiled pasta, just add it on the end.
