Our vegan supplier, Whole Foods, no longer carry Veet Salmon or the
Veet
chicken. Is it available any place?

Are you sure about the spelling of the name? I googled "veet" and got a
hair removing product... didn't look to see if it was vegan.

I think it's VEAT, like MEAT with a V :-)

The names that they come up with for meat alternatives totally crack me
up. In Eugene Oregon, there's this place that makes nut cheese called
Chreeze. It's pretty good too!

All that Veat stuff has Dairy in it so I won't/can't touch it.
I wish companies would just make everything Vegan, consumers can always
add cheese if they want.

This could be the reason that our store doesn't carry the Veat Fillet any
more. I think that "vegan" on the package is why we started using the
Fillet and Breast. The picture on the web has the word Vegetarian on the
package. Matter of fact, the person stocking the freezer case recommend
both produces to us when we asked for a vegan meat substitute.
I email Veat and ask if there was a change.
I found a seafood recipe on the web and it seem that seaweed give the
taste. I plan to give it a try soon.

I did get a reply from Veat and it has never bee labeled Vegan.
Thanks for the response here.
