I like shopping at this place (used to be Cost Plus World Market, now it's
just World Market). Before Christmas I used one of these 40% off sale
coupons to get my mom a nice big pannetone. This past Sunday the local
paper (_Chicago Trib_) had their flyer with another one of the 40% off
coupons. Just picked up some olio and balsamico. I just checked and it's
also available online (click the link below, I've also included the fine
print), they'll also have their flyer w/coupon in the store.

I enjoy nozing around the place, they have all sorts of little food - ish
nicks and nacks. Lots of good food items at decent prices, e.g.
condiments,

If you poke around you can find some 'interesting' finds, e.g. nice
wooden blinds, picture frames, etc. Glasses and dishware you can get
on the cheap if you find them on sale. They've got really nice gift

Some of their household stuff reminds me of the olde daze of Pier One,
when that place could be a reasonably cheap source of such things.
Pier One seems to have gone really upscale, besides which the one in my
nabe has closed...

Thanks, Greg. I checked online and found some glasses (I just gave away
my old ones). Long story short, they were online as a price for four
(maybe $19-20) but when I got to the store I just couldn't bring myself
to pay $4 each for everyday "beverageware." I know, I know, that's the
same price as the online price but it FELT more expensive. I almost
used the coupon for some Lindt Lindor truffles but my good sense
overcame me before I left the store empty handed. I wound up buying 16
Libbey or Anchor glasses ("beverageware") at WallyWorld for $10 and
change. I love World Market, too. I still have three weeks to use the
coupon. There's hope. And I don't like Pier I's new attitude.
