It sure sounds likes he's having a rough patch alright.

Contact his ISP and apprise them of your concerns, suicide being a felony crime
they are legally bound to take action regarding such threats by notifying the
appropriate intervention agencies, as they would any other felonious conspiracy
occuring over their servers. Btw, your posting said information in a public
forum makes you legally bound to notify the authorities too. Also, you really
shouldn't be propagating this publically.
