Some media "personalities" eventually turn into caricatures of
themselves. I find Emeril annoying, so I don't watch.

I also don't care for 'live audience' presentations. I've really
enjoyed many of Martin Yan's shows, but when he has an audience, he
becomes a clown.

When I first got the Food channel, I was appalled at an audience
(Emeril's) that would *applaud* the addition of tomatoes to a salad.
Maybe that's a condition of a free ticket to a taping -- you must look
absolutely hypnotized, and shout and whistle whenever garlic is
mentioned. Silly.
