I am at work on a memoir with recipes due out from a major New York
publisher next year. The book contains about 30 recipes, all of which
have been tested by myself and a culinary school graduate.

But I want to be sure the recipes really work. So I'm branching out to
find a group of enthusiastic home cooks to test the recipes. For each
recipe tested, you will receive a $10 stipend to help cover grocery
costs, paid by check after you conduct the first three tests. You'll
also get a signed copy of the book.

The book focuses on mostly French recipes, with classics such as Coq au
Vin, chocolate souffles and beef tournedos in red wine sauce. Mingled
among them are ones for Javanese rice, seabass in a fruity coconut
sauce and grilled pizza.

Testers will be able to select ahead of time the recipes they want to
try. Note: Most the recipes are not vegan-friendly, and only a few are
vegetarian.

All testing would need to be concluded and submitted by 15th December.
To start, each tester needs to commit to just three recipes. The
recipes would need to be followed exactly and require some written
comments on a form outlining your experience.

I'm looking for cooks with all manner of experience - the keys for
being selected for this project are passion, enthusiasm and ability to
write out notes clearly.

I'm working on another book after this one, and I'm hoping to assemble

I need about 10 testers. You location doesn't matter. I'll repost when
I've got enough people.

Ummmmmmm, wouldn't you have tested these recipes before going to the
publisher?????

$10??????? This must be a joke. I guess paying for someone's time to
test recipes so you can make a bundle off a book never entered your
mind. Must be a bunch of hamburger recipes or perhaps Bisquick to rate
such a low output of cash.
