Having said that, I'll also add just because you see it on a television
cooking show doesn't mean it's going to be good.

One of the saddest things I've ever seen was a trauma patient, who
because of extensive facial fractures, lost all sense of smell hence
much of his taste for food. Almost hard to imagine...?
