Seasoning Suggestion

Hi all -
snip veggie dip
Now this sounds fine nutrition-wise, once you throw in the raw
veggies. Problem is, I hate dill (I don't know why, I've never
been able to tolerate dill weed in anything). Anyone got a
suggestion for a good, low-cal replacement? And is it just me,
or does this sound like a lot of salt when you consider the
Worchestershire sauce?
Thanks in advance...
Maybe Beau Monde? It was the "secret" in my Mom's veggie dip. You can
buy premade, or here's a couple recipes below (never tried them)
Beau Monde Seasoning Mix
1 Tbsp salt
1 Tbsp bay leaf
2 Tbsp white pepper
2 Tbsp black pepper
1 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp cinnamon
1 Tbsp allspice
1 Tbsp mace
1 Tbsp cloves
Blend all spices together and store in a tightly closed jar. Yield: about
1/2
cup seasoning mix.
Beau Monde Seasoning Mix
1 Tbsp. ground cloves
1-1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 Tbsp. salt
1 Tbsp. ground bay leaf
1 Tbsp. ground allspice
2 Tbsp. ground black pepper
1 tsp. ground nutmeg
1 tsp. ground mace
1 tsp. celery seed
2 Tbsp. ground white pepper
In a small mixing bowl, mix together all ingredients. Pour into a tightly
closed jar and store in a cool, dry place.
