Default Siemens Glass/Ceramic Electric Hob/Top - Fitting Question

Wayne,

I can confirm that Siemens are sending me the fittings kit,
installation instructions and user manual free of charge and have set
up the two years parts and labour warranty also.

High class support I would say.

Yes Wayne,

I got a really good deal & its in immaculate condition. The cheapest I
saw it for on one of the price comparison web sights was £495 plus £20
delivery. I paid £235 all done with warranty.

Thank you for your input and concern.

Hi,

I wonder if anyone can assist with the following.

I have purchased an ex display Siements ET7287OEU touch control
electric hob/top with a glass/ceramic top. It came without the
fitting instructions or any fitting attachments.

There are two stepped levels under the top surface, the lower of
which has 4 plastic pegs which look as though they are load bearing.
If I simply drop it into the worktop hole there is only about 8mm of
aluminum trim which is load bearing.

Would anyone have one of these or another similar siemens model that
they could let me know how exactly it fits in the worktop.

Regards

I suppose that's what one might expect when buying a sample/display
model. Best to write or all Siemens for proper installation
instructions. Hope you got a really good deal on this!

Wayne

Dave, that's a terrific price! I'm sure that Siemens would happily
supply you with the installation instructions and, perhaps, even a
template. ASAIK, Siemens is very supportive of all their products.
They are high quality merchandise.

Happy cooking on your new acquisition!

Wayne
