Default what makes you feel better?

It's a great feeling, isn't it? I joined Weight Watchers at the beginning
of
January and have lost 35 pounds so far, but I had a lot more weight to
lose
than you. Still, it's amazing how much better I already feel and look,
and
people are definitely noticing. I don't do exercise. Never have, never
will. I see no point in doing something you really hate. :-)

m-i-l lived to 91 in good health (mind failure though last couple of years)
until she fell to the floor one morning, heart attack. She detested
exercise and doctors. If f-i-l suggested she go to a doctor for something,
she was in a snit for a long while. When I talked about exercising, she
only smiled. FIL wears regularly over the past 10 years a t-shirt (of 5 he
bought) which says, "Walk for life," and never walked a day in his life
until about 3 months ago (80 and has survived his 2 cancer bouts), so he's
now walking around the apartments every now and then with cane or walker.

Congratulations on your 35#. Quite a feat! It won't be long (another 9
years) until you'll be the magic 70 where "they" say it doesn't matter a
twit (or is that whit/wit) whether you exercise or not.

Lunch today: Portuguese-style Alaska Cod recipe from internet and rice. I
seem to recall you don't like cod? Testing out the new electric skillet.
