when in greece this spring i saw a bag of charcoal that said it was made
from olive pips. (yes, it was written in english). and i discovered that
another friend always saves their pips to throw on the coals when
grilling.

so, i've been saving pips from kalamata olives but i don't want to have
an experiment go bad. anyone else use olive pips??

Joe, I've never seen timidity in any of your prior posts. Make a hot lump
fire, pouch up some olive pits in alumifoil, toss 'em on the fire, shut the
lid and smell the smoke comin' out the stack. Issa good? Assa nice, trow
on a chicken. Issa no good? Ba fungool! Trow da sonamabitch out! Capeesh?
