Hi,

However, tomorrow is 4th of July and I would like to know if there's any
kind of "typical 4th of July" dishes I could throw at my smoker or grill
tomorrow? It doesn't have to be a Texan tradition as long as it's
something that someone prepares and eats on the 4th of July and thinks
"God Save America!"

Anything on the grill is traditional. Americans just like outdoor cooking.
Sides include things like potato salad and cole slaw.

For us, lunch is usually hot dogs or hamburgers, dinner is chicken, ribs,
brisket, etc. Today I'm doing a chicken on the rotisserie. Tomorrow
country ribs and pulled pork.
