My wife and I drink the moderate priced German wines frequently, also some

the WA, OR rieslings and Gewurztraminer. The Salmon Run was very
pleasant, but
it had what I can only describe as an "American" character, was clearly
not a
knock-off of the German or West Coast wines.

"Salmon Run" is actually KF's "value" line; they also offer other releases.
I visited the winery last fall, and was also impressed with their regularly
bottled Riesling and gewurtz; less so by the reds.
