when I'm out back Grilling burgers and the rest there is always a good
supply of cold ones near by.
1. to help me keep cool
2. to keep me from killing all the people that want everything "WELL DONE"
3. to temper the fire. YUP! BEER you keep it near by to temper the coals or
flare ups. if the grill flares just spray on some of your beer it not only
knocks out the flame but adds a little flavor to your foods.....(Had some
people say the food tastes tons better when some beer is sprayed on..

But as for food and beer, it depends on what you are eating, strong flavored
foods spicy etc go well with beer but forget enjoying a salad or anything
lightly flavored with it,!

I've read a ton of posts where they talk about these great places that
have awesome burgers, perfect fries. . .and then they add "and wash it
down with an ice cold beer."

Now, am I the only person who thinks beer ruins the taste of food?
This and "beer & pizza" are such foreign concepts to me. Beer
completely overwhelms any food tast, you might as well not even be
eating (unless it's Ziti - THAT goes great with beer).

But for a big juicey pounder with loads of cheese and onions, a
heaping glass of Coke is the only thing I like with it. Beer's great
if you want to get hammered, but with food? I never got on that
bandwagon. . .
