Chang Beer is a big selling beer in Thailand. It's strong [about 6.5 per
cent alcohol]; Chang means 'elephant'. I've seen it in bottles and cans but
not draft. There may be a few sales in the UK, but I would guess Chang's
main motive for sponsoring Everton is to raise the beer's profile in
Thailand. The Thais follow English soccer avidly. Regards, Ronnie H

I was at a bar showing the Chelsea-Everton match last Saturday. I noticed

that Everton has Chang Beer advertised on the
players' jerseys. The Everton website has a page about Chang, saying that

it's brewed in Thailand.

Who is the beer advertised to? Is it imported into England? Or is Chang

paying an English premiere league team to
advertise its product in Asia?

I also saw on the side boards that Budweiser is the official beer of the

premiere league. Have you people no shame?
