Hmm, I drank some "snake wine" in a tiny bar in Hiroshima Japan once.
The barkeep all but dared me (probably because I was the only gaijin
in the joint). All I can say is that it tasted like old sake with a
dead snake in it. Had to wash it down with a couple of Sapporos.
Which may have been what the barkeep was after... ;-)

Anyway, it didn't do much for me. I was there with my wife and an old
friend of her's and I did take a bit of kidding about it.
