There is no pepper in Pfeffernuessen. If you want the recipe at which I
am looking, from the Settlement Cook Book, I can copy it for you. I
have never made any, so I cannot tell you whether it is a good one.

Although I never taste pepper, what makes those black specks
if it's not pepper?
