Default Why price of eggs skyrocketed?

Steven,

You assume correctly, I live on Maui. You would be amazed at things here.
My husband (45 years old) makes $7.00 an hour at his job. I'm a free-lance
computer tech, so my salary varies...

I should send you a link to the Maui News Letters to the Editor.....LOTS of
people complain there about food and gas prices. Oh, by the way, the price
of gas is $2.37 cents a gallon.

Don'tcha want to visit PARADISE?

Tee hee,

Kilikini

Average salary is about $8.00 an hour and the unemployment rate is high.
Try finding a new place to live! Jeesh! I just went thru that. I

found a
box for $1000 a month.

Count your blessings, people.......

Kilikini...apologies...where are you? I was assuming Hawaii? This is
very intersting subject that may be off topic to this group, but If
above is true. I'm astounded. I can understand high prices but not
average salary.

This sounds like an environment where people die daily at a high rate.

I'm familier with island living (though no where near as far off coast
as you may be) it sounds like there should be crippled beggars on the
streets like the Dominican Republic and Haiti.
