The early afternoon call-in show on KUOW (Seattle's NPR news station)
celebrated Julia's life. It featured phone-ins from both Graham Kerr
and Tom Douglas.

Last Christmas I made the brioche tart from "Baking with Julia". This
was a two-day affair with lots of butter and eggs. It was a BIG hit at
dinner. Even the vegan in the crowd had some.
