That may be true, but wines can develop that black or white pepper
aroma/flavor naturally. I made a Pinot Noir in 1985 that was loaded with
it, and I'm certain there was no pepper added to the wine. That's the only
time I've ever seen that happen.

There's a wine that I can get at the liquor store called
'Casilero
Del Diablo' it's a cheap wine (well for the taste, the price is cheap
because I really like it). It's in the Chile section. That wine got a
pepper taste. Now, I'm doing experiments and doing my own wine for a
while
but I'm wondering how they do that pepper taste. Is it by adding ground
pepper or something. Somebody know how to do it please ?
