Default Question about *flour* tortilla press

On 12 Jul 2004 18:17:48 -0700,

Just a thought here, if you want to open a restaurant, no matter what
size really, that means high volume production. I don't know what you
understand of mexican cooking but in Mexico people eat smaller
tortillas and many of them. If you buy any of these machines your (or
the operator's arm) will get tired in no time and you need to cook
them too! I think any of these are no solution to a professional. Look
for machines that have high volume throughput, you put in the dough
and out comes a round tortilla, cooked. Sure they are pricy but you
don't want to spend your expensive labour cooking silly tortilla, do
you? They are served with any food really! So that makes at least 4
per guest! 20 tables times four guests = 320 tortilas * 1min
preparation time, you see that won't even be manageable!
