Is it ok to put some foil under the fire grates in a NB Silver (or
CharBroil Silver) to help with disposing of the leftover ash?

snip all the foregoing

Thanks. I was thinking of lining the bottom of the firebox/cooking
chamber to make it an easy step. Wasnt sure how tough i was to scoop
out. What about fat deposits, do those come off when scraping for the
ashes, or do you just burn them off. Speaking of which I need to
clean mine right now.

Jesse

Jesse, I build a fire in the cook chamber when I get too much grease
buildup. Don't plan on grilling right away when you do that. It takes
a few minutes to burn all the grease out, but it gets it all. There's
nothing
left but ash.
