is a bit of folklore that no contrary evidence seems to kill, but

As readers here have seen, there's a germ of truth in the folklore in
that caffeine's solubility is diminished by the low brewing
temperatures and short steep times people tend to use with greens.
But if you do multiple steeps you're probably going to overcome those
limiting factors.
