Don, *sigh*

there's Irish pubs in every minor and major city of the Northern
Hemisphere, and, no doubt in most of the 'lower' part of the globe too.
But our travelling friend probably wants lambic in Madrid and Sahti in
Brussels...

Not such an odd question. There's an Irish pub or two in Cologne,
and in several other German cities. My uncle lives in Berlin, and
there's an Irish pub right across the street from his apartment.
