Default Portuguese wine question

Do you feel the single varietal Quinta do Crasto wines (ie, the
Touriga Nacional, Tinto Roriz) are worth enough to pay in the mid-upper
US$30 range?

Don't forget the Tinta Cao.

They were in our market at that and I felt that the original price was pushing
the envelope.

When they reduced them to about $25, I snapped up a few of the 1999s.

They make excellent 'ringers' for blind tasting because people aren't used to
Portuguese wines and aren't expecting them.
