I am from the US, in an area where Kitchen Etc. has brick-and-mortar
retail stores. (Their corporate headquarters isn't terribly far,
either.) Here is my experience shopping at their stores.

- There is a large selection of different kinds of items, and they
frequently have many choices for the same kind of thing.

- The quality of the merchandise varies. The house-brand items are
inexpensive and you get what you pay for. Most of the merchandise
consists of major brands in the US market and other brands that are
low-priced and okay (not great, not terrible) quality.

I have no idea what it is like to do business with them over the net, or
from such a great distance. In the store the customer service is okay -
not exceptional, but certainly acceptable. The one time there was a
problem (my credit card was billed twice for a single transaction) they
made things right, though it took quite a while for the credit to be
posted and the credit card company was being thoroughly difficult and
uncooperative about the situation. In all fairness, I have made many
purchases there and only once was there any problem. It was just a
computer glitch.

I'm amazed that whatever you are looking for isn't available closer to
home. Kitchen Etc. has never struck me as a place that has hard-to-find
items or exceptionally low prices. If you purchased from them I would
expect that you would get what you ordered and everything would be okay,
though I have no idea how long it would take them to ship, etc.
