That being the case, what Asian ones are sold? All I know about are
Kambrook, GE etc etc. I didn't know there was a specifically Asian
electrical products line in anything.

Besides the mentioned brands, you can add Hitachi, Tatung to your list. BTW
there is nothing wrong with American brands (Rival, Hamilton Beach etc) ,
except everything is made in Asia regardless of the brand.
