Default Electric Rice Cooker/s

Just about to pursue one of these. I am told by a neighbour that his
father's Chinese partner insists, absolutely, that an Asian version is
mandatory - none of this Western rice cooker stuff for her.

That being the case, what Asian ones are sold? All I know about are
Kambrook, GE etc etc. I didn't know there was a specifically Asian
electrical products line in anything.

Ready to be illuminated....

Remove the zeds.

Tiger, National, Panasonic are the most commonly found brands that I know
of. All are Japanese, I believe (I'm not sure about Tiger, but it's very
commonly found in Japan so I assume it's Japanese). My parents used a
National for 20-some years (the same one), then a smaller National for maybe
10, now we've been using a Tiger that I brought back from Japan (it's 10
years old, too). They're all very good quality machines.
